Tamara GreenleafTamara Greenleaf is the Maverick Institute’s vice president. She oversees business development, and corporate communications. Tamara directs our healthcare practice, in which we work with hospitals, assisted living centers and other healthcare organizations to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and increase patient satisfaction. As a marketing expert, Tamara has worked and consulted with organizations including Aetna, Nationwide Insurance, Providence Health System, US Veterans Hospital, Club 1201 Condominiums at Orenco Station, Northwest Analytical (manufacturing/quality software), Melvin Mark Properties (commercial developers), Planar Systems (displays for radiology, clinical and other uses), Chockstone (gift card/loyalty solutions), Unicru (workforce hiring solutions), Oregon Labs/Entegris Corp., Conifer Investments and Olson Design and Development Corp. She also has been a contributing writer for Imaging Economics magazine. She is an award-winning writer, has nailed more than one corporate annual report on the first draft and has managed press conferences at the Washington Press Bureau. She has run a news bureau, developed on-the-spot marketing strategies for key clients and written Web copy at 2 a.m. for coders standing by in India. She's helped clients prepare senate testimony, get ready for trade shows, and dog-and-pony their prospective customers. Tamara has held an NASD Series VI securities dealers license and is a former board president of the Northwest Environmental Technology Associations and a former board member and marketing committee chair of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum (OEF). She holds a double BA in english and anthropology from Connecticut College. In her spare time she writes fiction and is currently working on her second novel. She also kayaks, SCUBA dives and practices yoga. |
